“The whole point is to bring people together who can talk about a destination at the front edge of its availability to the rest of the world,” says ATTA President Shannon Stowell about the AdventureNEXT concept.
AdventureNEXT Balkans in May 2016 was the first event of its kind and brought together 12 destinations from the region and presented them to adventure travel industry representatives from around the globe. It wasn’t just a tourism promotion event; it was a heart-changing development opportunity, bringing war-torn places together and sharing their combined cultural and natural wonders with the world.
