Imagine your tour showing up when users search for new experiences on Google – that’s what Google’s Things to do offers. Reach millions of travelers who search for a tour, experience, or attraction – and sell your experience with eye-catching pictures and direct booking options! Now, Google has made it easier than ever to get started by enabling tour operators to manage their listings directly from their Google Business Profile or a preferred connectivity partner.

How does Google Things to Do help tour operators grow their business?

Google ‘Things to do’ is a free and paid feature that helps people searching on Google discover and book tours, activities, and attractions. The program enables tour operators to showcase their products in a compelling way and drive bookings.

  • Increasing Exposure: Think of ‘Things to do’ as a digital storefront on Google. It places your tours, activities, and attractions in dedicated carousels and featured modules right alongside your Business Profile and on Google Search.
  • Targeted Reach: Google ‘Things to do’ targets users that are specifically looking for adventures in your area. You're reaching potential customers already in the mindset to book their next fun experience.
  • Budget-Friendly Powerhouse: Maximize your ROI and reach a broader audience with free exposure on ‘Things to do’, and turbocharge your bookings with Ads when you are ready to expand.
Ready to get started?

You need to first have a presence in order to get noticed. Start by setting up your Google Business Profile, your digital storefront on Google. A Business Profile shows users key information, such as your address, opening hours, and reviews. Boost your page’s appeal with visual content such as images or videos, and increase engagement through encouraging customers to write reviews.

Now you’re ready to showcase your tours. You can do this one of two ways:

1. Manage your offerings directly from your Google Business Profile
Now, you can get started with Things to Do without any integration needed. If you have a business profile, and are either an attraction or a tour operator, you should see an "Activities" section. From here, you can create detailed product listings with compelling descriptions, visuals, pricing, and a booking URL. See here for more details.

2. Connect your booking system
Connect with one of Google’s approved connectivity partners to showcase your activities on Things to do.
