Skift, the leading news source for travel executives, is partnering with Tomorrow’s Air, Innovation Norway and the Adventure Travel Trade Association to support the 2024 Year of Climate Innovation. Over the course of the year, a series of dynamic networking and educational events focused on climate innovation are taking place, culminating in an exclusive executive event in Norway: Innovate for Tomorrow Climate Action Summit.

By joining with the group, Skift – the information and intelligence brand at the forefront of innovation and transformation in travel deciphering and defining global travel trends – brings its unique resources, networks, and knowledge to accelerate understanding about a dynamic and expanding set of climate solutions available to travel companies.

Rafat Ali of Skift remarked, “Skift prides itself on being the ‘daily homepage’ for the global travel industry and the trusted news source for executives. As climate action becomes increasingly strategic for travel companies of all sizes and the universe of available solutions and climate-conscious business models continues to expand, it made sense for us to join forces with the progressive team at the Adventure Travel Trade Association, Tomorrow’s Air and Innovation Norway to support this effort.”

In upcoming Year of Climate Innovation events in New York and Norway, guests will learn from unique perspectives about the current landscape, future trends, and challenges facing the adoption of innovative approaches to climate action. Participants are able to connect with a diverse network of tourism professionals, climate investors, policymakers, and advocates committed to driving climate action forward.

As the Exclusive Media Partner for the Year of Climate Innovation Skift will leverage its travel industry network and credibility in the industry to support educational campaigns and networking opportunities designed to inspire, educate, and foster collaborative relationships necessary to scale-up innovations and support deep transformation.

Shannon Stowell, CEO of the ATTA said, “We’re delighted to partner with Skift to help bring awareness beyond the conservation-focused travel businesses that are routinely active at ATTA events. With Skift, we’re able to reach a broader community of travel companies with our message of climate innovation, and hopefully activate them as well to the cause.”
