For the destination host, AdventureNEXT is a debut of sorts onto the adventure scene, but because we also have international operators and buyers assembled in one place, we need educational content that will speak to all delegates -- suppliers and buyers, hosts and visitors, international and local. The concurrent sessions at AdventureNEXT San Luis Potosi will be grouped into three tracks -- each catered to different business models. Delegates can choose the track that best meets their organization’s goals and interests or mix and match sessions from different tracks.

This past May, AdventureNEXT delegates in the Balkans get ready to dive into concurrent sessions.[

Track 1: The Essence of Adventure
This track was created with destinations in mind and will provide the knowledge resources required to successfully develop an adventure tourism strategy. Delegates will learn about product development for destinations and get acquainted with the Adventure Traveler Personas we created for our AdventurePulse report.

Track 2: Spotlight on Mexico
It wouldn’t be right if we didn’t dedicate an entire track to our host country! This track will dive deep into the activities, trends, and opportunities available in Mexico to enable itinerary development and effective promotion of this unique destination. We will also earn from Mexico Tourism Board representatives what financial support is available for Coop-Marketing programs.

Track 3: Adventure Toolkit
This track will fill your toolbox with adventure-specific tips and strategies. AdventureEDU educator Gordon Janow will lead a workshop in Risk & Crisis Management and tourism marketing professor Milena Nikolova will teach a class on international marketing and sales. There will also be a session devoted to learning how to work with North American travel agents.

The concurrent sessions that comprise these three tracks are in addition to keynote plenary sessions, our popular tour operator MARKETPLACE, a media networking event and plenty of meals and coffee breaks for making new connections. Register to attend AdventureNEXT or apply to be an attending Tour Operator Buyer or Media.
