A perfect match: the luxury tour operator WINDROSE has a new owner and is now part of ASI Reisen. The Austrian specialist aims to build a group of companies with shared values characterised by medium-sized businesses – the Innsbruck-based organisation has taken an important step in this direction with the acquisition of WINDROSE Finest Travel GmbH. The purchase was finalised on August 9th and the parties have agreed not to disclose the price. WINDROSE’s location in the German capital and its employees will remain in place. WINDROSE Managing Director Christian Böll will continue the business largely unchanged and independently. At the same time, the new owner is signalling a willingness to invest.

The decisive moment for the takeover was the common ground between the parties. The companies share a similarly long tradition – ASI Reisen was founded in 1963, WINDROSE a decade later – and both deliberately present themselves as smaller, medium-sized businesses with corresponding values. The size, independence, spirit and self-image of both brands will not change in the future. On this basis, the change of ownership means that WINDROSE has the opportunity to build on the success it has already achieved. The luxury tour operator has already exceeded the previous year's turnover and the advance bookings for 2024/25 are encouraging. In addition to the continuous expansion of the portfolio with exclusive and unique offers as well as selected partners, Böll's agenda includes investments in high-level quality and digitalisation.
